The best place to store chocolates is in your belly! But if you can't finish them all at once Nina's chocolates only uses pure couverture chocolate, which needs to be kept at a consistent temperature of 16-20 degrees Celsius away from sunlight and strong odours.
We do not recommend refrigeration, but if you must to avoid melting on an extremely hot day, package in an airtight container in the butter section of your fridge.
Change in temperature can cause chocolate to turn white, this is a result of fats rising to the surface of the chocolate. The chocolate is still edible, however its appearance, quality and texture will be affected. Best way to ensure your chocolate is kept in tip top condition is to store it at a consistent temperature between 16-20 degrees Celsius. See ‘How should I store my chocolates?’.
